Russian goverment backed by Mr Putin, they need to get a foothold into Europe and will probably outbid any other buyers to acheive their goal

Gordon Brown ( British Prime Minister ) not a happy man with Iceland at present. Over 300,000 British citizens and most of his local goverments have lost billions of dollars. Mr Brown would be more inclined to send warships and troops to Iceland to overthrow Mr Geir Haarde and company
